In order to give away a show dolphins don’t need to be trained, which u will encounter in their own natural habitat. At the juncture of the Suriname and the Commewijne river these playful animals are known to reside. These mammals show themselves quite easily but our guide knows exactly the time and place at which they usually show up. After the spotting we’ll visit Braamspunt where local fishermen have set up a base camp, where-after a visit is made to local fish- and shrimp processing industries.

On our way back, we’ll go across the Commewijne rivier en make a stop at the previous plantation Rust en Werk, where an Indonesian lunch will be consumed. After this, we’ll pay a visit to Fort Nw Amsterdam which was used to defend the Colony Suriname and head home afterwards.
