Gran Rio- Sintiadam trekking
Departure to this expedition starts at the Zorg and Hoop airstrip in Paramaribo, from where we depart to Kajana in the Gran Rio area. On this expedition we will climb a 400m tall granite-rock, which will give you an excellent view over the Surinamese Amazon rainforest.
From Kajana we will head to the Sintia-dam and a stop will be made at the Opawa-dam, where your participation will be required to drag the canoe over the dam, as will be the case at the Adadin-dam, for these are very large in size. After the boat-ride we’ll arrive at the Sintia-dam, where we will have to fish or hunt for food. If adventurous, you are welcome to join, of course.
On the way back, the same dams will be crossed, while the airplane awaits at the Kajana airstrip for our departure.

Experienced guide, all meals, all non alcoholic beverages ( water, carbonated beverages ), all transportation, accommodation, medical kit, usage of satellite telephone.
Note : it is customary to pack light, so where needed a camp will be made to spend the night in hammocks (with mosquito-net), and food will be gathered from survival tactics e.g. hunting/fishing while being prepared on wood-fire.
