This tour to one of the most untouched places in Suriname, commences by the gathering of guests where after we drive over the East West connecting road to reach Nickerie. Along the way a stop will be made to have some tea, coffee, and a good breakfast.

At Nickerie we board our comfortable boat which will take us to an Amer-Indian village Orealla ( British Guyana ), where we stroll through the village and do a quick sanitary stop. After our departure from Orealla, we head to Cowfalls, where we do lunch and we prepare to spend the night.

After awakening to beautiful sounds indigenous to the forest and the sounds made from the rapidly flowing waters, we enjoy our breakfast and had to Timehri, where we stretch our legs a little and we prepare for the last stage of the boattrip, our trip to the wonderous Wonotobo falls.

After check-in feel free to wander about, explore the area, sunbathe, or to catch one of the fish abundantly present in the rapids. The catch may include but is not limited to Red Tail Cat fish, Peacock Bass, Giant Threadfin and several other large species. At night we sit around the campfire while we listen to the fisherman’s tales from the guests or the ghost stories told by the guides.

The adventure continues after breakfast by going to the Blue Crane Falls, where the sheer volume of falling waters will amaze you. From there you are brought to a well-known fish area, and where you are guaranteed to catch a lot. It is up to you if u decide to eat or release your catch.

On the next day we go to the French men falls where the opportunity rises to swim, relax in the rapids, and recover from all nature’s beauty. Than we head into the forest to meet and greet their inhabitants and admire some hieroglyphs left behind by the Amer-Indians which populated the area many centuries ago. During your stay you will surely encounter many birds, monkeys, deer, swine and much more.

De volgende dag word de dag waarop wij varen naar de Frenchmen Falls waar U de gelegenheid geboden wordt om lekker te zwemmen, relaxen of in de stroomversnelling te liggen en bij te komen van al het onderweg tegengekomen natuurschoon. Hierna brengen wij de bossen en hun bewoners een bezoekje en kunnen wij onderweg enkele rotstekeningen en slijpgroeven aanschouwen waarmee de oorspronkelijke trio indianen vele duizenden jaren terug hun boodschappen communiceerden en die na al die millenia nog intact zijn. Tijdens het verblijf en de boswandelingen zult u ongetwijfeld veel papegaaien, ara’s , verschillende apensoorten en andere soorten dieren tegenkomen daar dit gebied veelal ongerepte natuur beslaat.

The last day we depart early in the morning after having had breakfast, and we enter the boats to head back to Timehri. We lunch in Nickerie, board the bus and head back to Paramaribo.
